Melissa Almaraz

Melissa Almaraz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Melissa began their career in 2003 as a Suite Sales Manager at ARAMARK Refreshment Services. In 2006, they worked as a Marketing Specialist at The Press Enterprise before moving on to SAVOR... in 2007, where they served as a Marketing Manager until 2008. From 2009 to 2014, Melissa worked at Ryder Logistics, first as a Shipment Management Coordinator and later as the Dr Pepper Account Lead for the West Coast. In 2014, they joined Yelp as an Account Manager and then transitioned to the role of Franchise Account Manager the following year. In 2017, Melissa joined CarNow as a Regional Performance Manager and then progressed to the position of Regional Performance Director from 2019 to 2020. Melissa'smost recent role at CarNow is the Director of Product & Partner Delivery, where they have been since 2020.

Melissa Almaraz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Writing and Technical Communication from the University of Houston-Downtown, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts degree in English Language and Literature/Letters at Houston Community College from 2003 to 2004. In 2000 to 2002, Melissa attended Christopher Newport University, specializing in International Business, but did not obtain a degree. In addition to their formal education, Melissa obtained a certification as an Automotive Specialist from Yelp in April 2017.
