Joseph Brown is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in both education and the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Executive Chef at Carol Woods Retirement Community since June 2023, Joseph has previously held significant roles such as Executive Director at Black Tie & Tails Hospitality & Consulting Services, where Joseph founded a consulting business focused on enhancing food and beverage operations for startups and small businesses. Joseph's educational contributions include teaching Food Science, Nutrition, and Culinary Techniques at the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Public School Foundation, where impactful initiatives included launching the “Wildcat Café” and significantly improving ServSafe certification passing rates.
