Lucas Arraut has a range of experience in the fashion and publishing industries. Lucas started off as a Trendscout at Levi Strauss & Co in 1999, and then became an Editor of Fashion at Marie Claire in 2000. After that, they worked as the Director of Vanidad from 2004 to 2007, and then as the Responsable de EP3 y Revista Sábado at El País from 2007 to 2013. Lucas then became the Director of Revista Icon - El País in 2013, and is currently the Editorial & Communication Director at Carolina Herrera since 2019.

Lucas Arraut attended Lawrence Academy Massachusetts from 1995 to 1997, where they completed their high school education. Afterward, from 1997 to 2001, they studied at Universitat Ramon Llull, where they pursued a degree in Ciencias de la Comunicación (Communication Sciences).
