Samuel Farrar

Samuel Farrar is a skilled professional with diverse experience in lighting design, photography, retail management, long-term care, and marketing. Currently serving as a Stagehand at the Carolina Theatre of Durham since March 2022, Samuel specializes in designing individualized lighting looks for performers and executing programming on an Ion XE board. Previously, as a Photographer at Lifetouch National School Studios, Samuel was responsible for architecting set designs and ensuring precise lighting for over 300 photos daily. Experience also includes configuring photography equipment at Jostens PIX and retail responsibilities at The TJX Companies, Inc. Samuel's background in long-term care showcases a commitment to patient needs, while a degree in New Media and Graphic Design from the University of North Carolina Asheville underscores a strong foundation in creative collaboration and project management.
