Lead Clinical Quality Coder at Carolinas HealthCare System

Kelly Cronin CCS has a total of three work experiences. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at Phelps Memorial Hospital as a Medical Coder, responsible for coding radiology, wound care, and emergency department records. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Nyack Hospital as a Medical Coder Abstractor, coding outpatient cases using Icd-9 and Icd-10. Since 2016, they have been working at Carolinas HealthCare System as a Lead clinical quality coder.

Kelly Cronin CCS earned their Associate's Degree in Health Information/Medical Records Coding Billing and Insurance from Berkeley College, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. In addition, they obtained the Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) certification from AAPC in May 2019 and the Certified Coding Specialist certification from AHIMA in May 2015.
