Sendee Dozier

Sendee Dozier is currently the Vice President of Clinical Services at Caromont Health. Prior to this, they were a consultant for Hospice of the Piedmont in North Carolina from February 2020 to September 2021. In this role, they provided counsel to legal teams regarding cases involving nurse and/or provider malpractice in both the acute and ambulatory care environments. Sendee also collaborated with attorney partners to evaluate legal cases to determine if appropriate nursing care was delivered, documented, and could be defended in potential litigation cases.

Dozier is an expert in the acute, procedural, and ambulatory settings, with specific expertise in cardiology (medical and interventional), advanced heart failure (including VAD and ECMO), cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, cardiac invasive and non-invasive procedures, trauma and emergency medicine, critical and intensive care, general medicine/surgical care, hyperbaric and wound care, nursing and healthcare administration, risk management, patient safety and quality improvement, and medical record auditing.

Sendee Dozier has a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Executive Leadership, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from East Carolina University in Nursing Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Nursing Leadership. Sendee also has an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Surry Community College in Registered Nurse, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - BSBA from Appalachian State University in Management. Sendee is certified by the American Heart Association in BCLS, MSI in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, and MSI in Project Management Essentials Certified (PMEC), and by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
