Tom Nguyen

Tom Nguyen is a Senior Software Engineer at Carousell, where employment began in April 2017 after serving as a Software Engineer. Prior experience includes a role in the R&D Department at VietUnion Online Services Corporation (Payoo) from May 2014 to April 2017, focusing on researching global payment methods and developing the Payoo app for Android. Tom also contributed to mobile projects in various capacities, including part-time work developing the “FUTA BUS” app for iOS at PHUONG TRANG FUTA BusLines Corporation from 2015 to 2016. Earlier experience includes leading a team at Newway Team (2012-2015) in developing award-winning apps such as Street Foods Guide and Motoway, and working as an Android Developer at VeXeRe.com in early 2014. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree with honors in Information Technology from VNUHCM - University of Science, earned in 2014.
