Kimberly Shire is an experienced theatre professional currently serving as Associate Professor of Theatre and Director of Theatrical Production at Carroll College since 2015. Prior to this role, Kimberly was an Assistant Professor of Theatre at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from January 2013 to June 2015 and held various positions including AV Graduate Assistant and Research Assistant at the Manoa Institutional Research Office. Additional experience includes working as a Teaching Artist with Honolulu Theatre for Youth and serving as a Designer at JAR Creative Design. Kimberly's extensive background in education also includes roles as a Para-Educator with Evergreen School District, Theater Director at Camas High School Theater, and tutoring positions with Club Z! and Seeding Success. Kimberly holds an MFA in Theater for Young Audiences and Costume Design from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a BA in English from Seattle Pacific University.
