Kelsey Mays

Kelsey Mays is the current Assistant Managing Editor - News at Cars.com.

Kelsey started their career as an intern at Edmunds.com in September 2005 and then joined Cars.com in January 2006 as an Assistant Managing Editor. In this role, Kelsey managed the company's daily news coverage of the auto industry with a focus on consumer impact. Kelsey remained with Cars.com until February of 2022 when they left to join Promus Holdings, LLC as a Copy Editor and Writing Coach.

At Promus, Kelsey edited client-facing financial communications in multiple formats and coached finance professionals on best writing practices. Kelsey remained with Promus until August of 2021 when they rejoined Cars.com as their Assistant Managing Editor - News.

Kelsey Mays has a bachelor's degree in communications from Pepperdine University.

They are on a team with and Jane Ulitskaya - News Editor. Their manager is Joe Bruzek, Managing Editor.
