Priya Ravishankar

Priya Ravishankar is the current Chief Compliance Officer of Carta Capital Markets, LLC. Priya has held this position since July of 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy CCO of Carta Capital Markets, LLC from November 2019 to June of 2022. During that time, they built and deployed compliance programs for new broker-dealers, NMA/CMA with FINRA, and US state/territory registration processes. Ms. Ravishankar has also worked as an OSJ Principal of Steel Partners related party, Mutual Securities, Inc, (“MSI”), a registered broker-dealer; they created and maintained information barriers between Steel Partners and MSI; mitigated and resolved conflicts of interest. Priya started their career in the financial industry as a Compliance Associate with Mutual Securities, Inc. Member FINRA, SIPC from January 2010 to January 2015. Priya then became the Senior Compliance Officer and Director of Investment Operations with Steel Partners Holdings from January 2015 to January 2019. Ms. Ravishankar began their career with Steel Partners Holdings as an Analyst and Trader from January 2008 to January 2015.

Priya Ravishankar completed their Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from New York University. Priya then went on to get their certification from ACAMS as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). Priya also has FINRA certifications in Series 24, 55, 57, 63, and 7.
