Doug Gold has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. Doug began their career in 1990 as the Owner of The Music Recyclery. In 1998, they became the Marketing Manager of Perceptual Robotics. In 1999, they became the Owner of Midwest Performance Cars. In 2003, they became the Regional Sales Manager of Cars.com. In 2006, they became the Director of Sales of vAuto. In 2007, they became the Director of Northwest Operations of SmartUSA-Penske Automotive Group. In 2011, they became the Field Operations Manager of Mercedes Benz USA. In 2012, they became the Area Manager of BMW of North America, LLC. In 2016, they became the General Manager of Marin Subaru, where they were responsible for all aspects of operating a retail Subaru Dealership in San Rafael, CA with full P&L Responsibility. Doug implemented process and personnel improvements to increase net profitability by 400% in five years and improved CSI scores from worst in the Bay Area for Subaru to top 10%. In 2022, they became the Director of Sales and Client Experience of Cartelligent.

Doug Gold attended the University of Michigan, where they earned a Bachelor of General Studies degree with a focus in English and History.
