Paul Pizzani

Partner & Chief Financial Officer at Cartesian Capital Group

Paul Pizzani has over 35 years of experience in the financial sector. Paul'scareer began in 1982 when they joined KMG Main Hurdman as an accountant. Paul then moved to COMSAT, Inc. in 1985, where they served as Treasurer and Alternate Governor to the Intelsat Board of Governors. In 1997, they became a Managing Director at Wasserstein Perella Emerging Markets. In 1999, they founded Pizzani Hamlin Capital (PH Capital) to manage private equity investments in partnership with AIG Capital Partners (AIGCP). In 2006, they co-founded Cartesian Capital Group, where they serve as Partner and Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the Pangaea Fund's Investment Committees.

Paul Pizzani has an extensive educational background, beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Villanova School of Business from 1979 to 1982. Paul then went on to receive an Executive MBA in Finance and General from The Wharton School between 1988 and 1990. Paul also holds several certifications, including Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Management Accountants, Certified Public Accountant from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
