Alberto Miedes Garcés

Alberto Miedes Garcés has been working in the software development industry since 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Software Development Intern and Software Developer at Populate. During this time, they also worked as a Ruby on Rails developer for Freelance. In 2016, they also served as a Technical Assistant at Medialab-Prado Madrid, where they were part of a multidisciplinary team of nine people and contributed to the development of the emapic + consul integration during the Collective Intelligence for Democracy Days. In 2020, they joined CARTO as a Backend Developer.

Alberto Miedes Garcés obtained a Grado en Ingeniería de Computadores from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid between 2012 and 2017. Alberto also holds certifications in Alemán A1 from the Centro Superior de Idiomas Modernos (obtained in May 2014), First Certificate in English from the Cambridge University Press (obtained in December 2011), Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française B1 from the Ministère Education Nationale (obtained in December 2010), and Introduction to R from DataCamp.
