Strategic Partnerships Manager at CARTO

Isabel Pozuelo has held various roles in the technology industry since 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at Centro de Estudios Paisaje y Territorio. During this time, they were responsible for geospatial data processing and review of landscape studies for different public administrations and private entities. Isabel also had knowledge in SQL, GIS, and BI.

From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Geographica as a Technical Project Manager, a Quality Assurance Manager, and a Geographic Information Systems Analyst. As Technical Project Manager, they were responsible for managing the budget control of the project to ensure compliance with milestones and performance metrics, as well as the development of schedules and work teams using ITIL and agile methodologies such as SCRUM. As Quality Assurance Manager, they lead the quality control and analysis of the solutions developed by Geographica's Engineering team.

Currently, they are employed at CARTO as a Strategic Partnerships Manager and a Technical Project Manager. As part of the Strategy department, they are responsible for defining and building CARTO's expansion plan and new technology products. Isabel is also responsible for building collaboration plans with product teams from Google, AWS, Microsoft, Snowflake, etc.

Isabel Pozuelo earned a Licentiate degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Universidad de Sevilla in 2012. In 2011 and 2012, they attended Universit\u00e9 Rennes 2 for G\u00e9ographie, Am\u00e9nagement et Environnement. In 2015, they earned a Master's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Universidad de Sevilla. Isabel also has a certification in Introduction to Data Science from Coursera Verified Certificates obtained in June 2015.
