Maxine Velasco

Maxine Velasco has had a diverse work experience. In 2016, they were a Customer Service Advisor at Argos, and a Work Placement at Crown Commercial Service. In 2018, they were an Au-Pair at AuPairWorld. In 2019, they were a Student Ambassador at the University of Bath School of Management. In 2020, they were an Editorial Marketing Intern at TBWA Paris, and a Welfare and Inclusivity Officer at the University of Bath Kickboxing Club. Currently, they are a Marketing Associate and Enterprise Business Development at CARTO, and a Business Development Administrator at SK College Group. In their roles, they have provided administration and support, liaised with external partners, maintained databases, provided informal mental health and welfare support, organised and hosted weekly meetings, assisted with social media content, drafted and proof-read articles and newsletters, conducted research, composed marketing decks, and retrieved and organised creative assets.

Maxine Velasco completed a BSc in International Management and Modern Languages (French) at the University of Bath from 2017 to 2021. In 2019, they participated in an Erasmus Exchange at the EM Strasbourg Business School, studying Business/Commerce, General. Additionally, in February 2019, Maxine obtained the Introduction to Web Development certification from Code First: Girls.
