Samuel Nieto Orellana

Samuel Nieto Orellana has worked in various roles since 2008. Samuel began as a GIS Analyst at Cartográfica del Sur in 2008. In 2010, they moved to Esri España as a Customer Success. In 2012, they became a Business Manager at Glamourmet, S.L. In 2015, they shifted to the Comunidad de Madrid as a GIS Analyst. In 2018, they moved to dotGIS as a Sales Engineer. Samuel is currently working as an Account Executive at CARTO since 2019.

Samuel Nieto Orellana obtained a Licenciatura in Humanidades from Universidad Pablo de Olavide from 2001 to 2006. Samuel then completed a Beca Erasmus in Humanidades/Estudios humanísticos from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore from 2004 to 2005. In 2007, they obtained a Master in Análisis Geográfico en la Ordenación del Territorio. Tecnologías de la Información Geográfica (TIGs) from Universidad de Granada, which they completed in 2009. In the same year, they also obtained an Experto Universitario in Sistemas de Información Geográfica from Universidad Internacional de Andalucía. Additionally, they obtained an Arcgis Desktop Technical Certification from Esri España in June 2013.
