Verónica Milán

Verónica Milán has a long and varied work experience. Verónica began their career in 2006 as a Freelance Designer, working on development projects such as design, UX, web development and digital marketing. That same year, they founded LaWebera.es, an Education Portal focused on web design. In 2010, they took a role as Visual Designer and User Interface Developer at EL PAÍS, covering a maternity leave. In 2011, they worked as a UI Designer and developer at ISBAN - Grupo Santander, working for Santander Group companies. Verónica also worked as a UI Developer Lead at Lextrend and at Tuenti, where they held the roles of Principal UI Developer, UI Developer Lead, and Senior UI Developer. Most recently, they worked as a UI Developer at Atani and is currently working as a UI Developer at CARTO, using React with MUI and tools like GIT, GitHub, Shortcut, Figma and Sketch.

Verónica Milán has a diverse educational background. Verónica completed a Degree in Psychology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid between 2003 and 2008. Verónica then attended Universidad de Murcia in 2010 and completed a Professional Web Design: Usability, Information Architecture and Standards course. In the same year, they also completed a High Performance Web Sites course at Stanford University. In 2011, they completed a Postgraduate Course: Accessibility and Usability Expert in web content from Universidad de Alcalá. Between 2008 and 2010, they attended Universidad de Granada and completed a Design and Front-end development course. Most recently, they attended ThePower Business School and completed a Programa ThePowerMBA in Business Expert - Gestión y Administración de Empresas between 2018 and 2019, and a ThePowerDigitalMarketing in Marketing Digital between 2019 and 2020.
