Maya Topitzer

Maya Topitzer has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health and well-being. Maya is currently the Head of Product at Cartwheel, a company that focuses on student mental health crisis in schools. Prior to this, Maya worked at LiveBetter as an Advisor and later as the Head of Product. LiveBetter was acquired by Ginger, a digital mental healthcare company, where they joined as a Product Manager. Maya also served as a Research Lead and Product Development at LiveBetter. Maya was a Group Product Manager at Spring Health, a comprehensive mental health benefit for employers. Maya started their career as a Mental Health Associate at Ventura County Behavioral Health and also worked as a Family Resource Center Associate at Isla Vista Youth Projects, where they coordinated a home visitation program for pregnant mothers. Additionally, Maya has experience as a Lab Assistant at the Center for Evolutionary Psychology, a Kidz Club Coordinator at UCSB Community Affairs Board, and an Intern at Advancement for Rural Kids.

Maya Topitzer's education history includes earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara from 2011 to 2014. Following this, they pursued further education at Columbia University, where they obtained a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) and a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from 2017 to 2020.
