Brian Deroo Sphr

Brian DeRoo SPHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Brian started their career as a Department Manager at Menards in 2006, and later held positions as Commercial and Contractor Sales Manager and HR Coordinator. In 2017, they joined FIDELITONE as an HR Generalist before transitioning to a similar role at School District U-46. In 2018, they became an HR Director at Coveted Financial Services. Brian then worked as the Director of Human Resources at Crystal Lake Elementary District #47 before currently holding the position of Director of Human Resources at CARY26 SCHOOL DISTRICT.

Brian DeRoo SPHR, SHRM-CP holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Colorado State University Global, obtained from 2019 to 2022. Brian also holds an Associate of Arts - AA degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Black Hawk College, obtained from 2003 to 2017. Brian DeRoo completed their high school education at Rock Island High School. In addition, they have obtained certifications including Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HRCI in 2023, and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from HR Certification Institute - HRCI and SHRM respectively, both in 2018.
