Archana Ramadoss

Archana Ramadoss has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Archana is currently employed as a Customer Success Specialist at CAS since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant for IP strategy and innovation at Questel from February 2021 to November 2022. Archana also served as a Scientific Advisor at éolane from May 2017 to February 2019.

Archana's academic background includes a PhD researcher position at the University of Basel, where they focused on clinical genetics and cancer cell metabolism, specifically targeting glioma cell motility and invasion. Their research involved working with 2D cell culture models and utilizing techniques such as chromatin immunoprecipitation and reporter gene assays. Archana worked extensively on imaging and recording fast mitochondrial movements, capturing dynamics over 7 frames per second. Archana started their PhD position in January 2012, and no end date was provided.

Before their PhD, Archana worked as a Master researcher at Inserm from June 2010 to November 2011. Their research focused on translational strategies to target the progression of glioma, specifically cancer stem cells and glioma cell motility. Archana utilized techniques such as cell-based assays, immunofluorescence, histochemistry, and 3D imaging of blood vessel structures.

Archana began their professional journey as an intern at SRM University from January 2008 to July 2008. Archana later worked as an undergraduate research assistant from December 2005 to September 2007, where they conducted research on generating bioelectricity from microbial consortiums in wastewater. Their work involved exploring microbiology, biophysics, and acquiring an in-depth understanding of cellular respiration in anaerobic facultatives.

Archana Ramadoss completed a certification course in Information Technology from Global Knowledge Belgium - a Skillsoft company in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Neuroscience/ Oncology from the University of Basel from 2012 to 2016. Archana also earned a Master's Degree in Neuroscience from the University of Strasbourg from 2009 to 2011, and a Bachelor's Degree in Genetic Engineering from SRM University from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their academic degrees, Archana Ramadoss has obtained several additional certifications. In 2020, they completed a certification course for DevOps from Global Knowledge. In 2007, they received a B level certification from the National Cadet Corps through the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Furthermore, in 2005, they obtained certifications in Business English (ESOL Entry level 3) from Cambridge University.
