Janelle Basa

Janelle Basa has extensive work experience in various roles within the marketing and event management industry.

Janelle started their career at Fight Card Entertainment in 2010 as an Event Manager, where they recruited and managed a promotional pool and acquired sponsors for events.

From 2010 to 2012, Janelle worked at TEAM Enterprises as an Area Lead and Special Events Apprentice, managing and executing programs across different markets and coordinating training seminars for new hires.

In 2012, they joined Global Adrenaline as an Event Manager, where they developed nationally expanding branded events and produced marketing strategies to promote brand awareness.

Janelle then worked at Sound-Bar Group in 2012 as a Marketing Manager, where they successfully launched a new event brand and acted as a liaison between media, vendors, and clients.

In 2013, they held roles at YouSwoop.com as an Account Executive, where they drove company revenue through new key accounts and developed the "SwoopSocial" event department, and at Showcase, LLC as an Event Manager and Managing Partner, where they strategically built and executed nightlife events in Chicago.

From 2013 to 2017, Janelle worked at Davos Brands, starting as a Regional Manager and later becoming the National Director of Field Marketing. In these roles, they contributed to the growth and distribution of various brands such as TY KU, Aviation Gin, Sombra Mezcal, and Astral Tequila.

Most recently, Janelle joined Casa Komos Brands Group in 2022 as the Midwest Regional Sales Manager and later transitioned to the role of Commercial Development Director - Central.

Janelle Basa pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting in 2008 at the University of Phoenix. Janelle studied Psychology with a focus on Social Sciences, completing their degree in 2010. Later, Janelle attended the College of Lake County, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Social Sciences.
