Miguel Cortes has over 20 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Miguel started their career as a Telecommunications Engineer at Bolsa Mexicana de Valores in 1995 and then moved on to work as a Telecommunications Manager at Banorte (formerly Bancrecer) from 1996 to 1999. Miguel then joined Telefónica (formerly Pegaso PCS) as a Product Manager, where they developed and launched various wireless products. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as an Account Manager at Nortel, focusing on the service provider industry. Miguel then joined Axtel (Mexican Telco) as a Sales Executive, where they closed strategic accounts and service provider deals. In 2003, they became a Customer Service Manager at QUALCOMM - OmniTRACS, before transitioning to Cisco in 2006. At Cisco, Miguel held multiple roles, including Senior Account Manager - Global Service Providers and Account Manager - Linksys Sales. Miguel implemented successful sales strategies, built strong relationships with clients, and achieved exceptional sales performance, earning several awards and recognition. In 2016, they joined Casa Systems, Inc. as a Business Development/Account Manager.

Miguel Cortes completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey. This educational journey took place from 1989 to 1994. Later on, in 2013 to 2014, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General, from IPADE Business School.
