Sagar Raikar

Sagar Raikar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Sagar started their career at Tech Mahindra in 2013, where they worked as a Software Engineer and End-to-End (E2E) Lab Tester for the AT&T client. During their time at Tech Mahindra, Sagar gained extensive knowledge in LTE architecture, IMS architecture, VoIP call flows, and EPC session establishment. Sagar also had working knowledge in telecom areas like UMTS, LTE, and IMS technologies, as well as network elements such as RNC, SGSN, MME, SGW, PGW, PCRF, MSC/VLR, HLR, P-CSCF, I-CSCF, S-CSCF, SCC-AS, CPM, and TAS.

In 2017, Sagar joined Comcast Cable as a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer. In this role, they verified network operations and reported feature bugs during IMS, DOCSIS, MGCF regression testing to the NOKIA vendor. Sagar also performed Root Cause Analysis and CDR analysis for SIP and TDM voice tickets, generated heavy traffic load using load generator, and maintained a 99.99% network active stability.

Most recently, Sagar worked at Casa Systems, Inc. as a Technical Support Engineer, before being promoted to the role of Senior Technical Engineer in 2021. At Casa Systems, they provided technical assistance to customers, collaborated with them to troubleshoot and provide solutions to issues with Casa System's products, and ensured correct operation and error detection through system observation and command execution.

Overall, Sagar Raikar has built a strong background in software engineering, quality assurance, and technical support roles, with expertise in telecommunication technologies and network operations.

Sagar Raikar completed their education at Northeastern University from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Master's degree in Telecommunication Systems Management. Prior to that, they attended Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering & Information Technology Shiroda from 2009 to 2013 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including CISSP Cert Prep: 4 Communication and Network Security, Linux: Bash Shell and Scripts, and Python 3 Essential Training. These certifications were obtained from Lynda.com in January 2017 and December 2016, respectively.
