Shawn Cai

Shawn Cai has extensive work experience in the finance field. Shawn began their career at United World Enterprises Pty. Ltd. in 2007, where they served as a Senior Accountant. Their responsibilities included preparing payment runs, issuing customer invoices and credit notes, and managing debtors and collections. In 2010, they joined EnerSys as a Finance Manager, where they were responsible for various finance operations, including management accounting, corporate reporting, treasury, internal control, and SOX compliance. Shawn also handled statutory reporting, taxation, and transfer pricing arrangements, as well as budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering. Additionally, they played a key role in system implementation and support, including ERPs and HFM Hyperion. In 2019, Shawn Cai joined Epson Australia as a Finance Manager ANZ, where they managed finance operations for the Australian and New Zealand regions. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Finance Manager at Casa Systems, Inc.

Shawn Cai completed a Master's Degree in Business/Commerce, with a focus on Logistics Management, from the University of Sydney, studying from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from Beijing International Studies University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. In March 2012, Shawn also received a CPA certification from CPA Australia.
