Chief Product Officer at Casavo

Fausto Maglia is currently the Chief Product Officer at Casavo. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager at Dixons Carphone and Travel Appeal. At Dixons Carphone, Fausto managed digital self-care for iD Mobile Virtual Network Operator. Their focus was on increasing the number of users, increasing the usage of self-care, and decreasing calls to customer services by providing new and better features in the mobile app and website.

At Travel Appeal, Fausto was focused on building digital products which could help the travel industry better deal with reviews, social media, and digital communications. Fausto worked on vision, strategy, and UX. Fausto used agile methods such as A/B testing, MVPs, feedback loops, analytics, and insights. While at Travel Appeal, Fausto oversaw four products that achieved great results. The first product was for hotels and it was used daily by more than 500 Italian and UK hotel managers. It was even officially resold by Unicredit Bank. The second product was for restaurants and it was used daily by more than 100 Italian and UK restaurant managers. The third product was for museums and it acquired a yearly licence from the Italian Ministry of Tourism for 30 different national museums. The fourth and final product was for destinations. Some of their customers included the tourism board of Lugano area in Switzerland and the whole Region of Lombardy in Italy.

Thanks to their experience and success at Travel Appeal, Fausto was able to take on the role of Chief Product Officer at Casavo.

Fausto Maglia has a Master of Business Administration from LUISS Business School, a Master's degree in Business Communications and Marketing from Università degli Studi di Siena, a Bachelor's degree in Digital humanities from Università di Pisa, and is a certified Business administration and foreign languages correspondent from ISS Enrico Fermi - Empoli. Fausto also has certifications in Brand Masterclass and AIPMM from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing and AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management, respectively.

Fausto Maglia reports to Giorgio Tinacci, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Giuseppe Caputo - CFO, Matteo Caglio - Global Chief Information Officer & Security, and Chiara Chimenti - Chief Strategy Officer.
