Susan Millett's work experience begins in 1989 as an Auditor at Berry Dunn McNeil & Parker. Susan then moved on to William Goodman & Sons, where they served as Controller from 1991 to 1999 and later became President from 1999 to 2003. Following that, they joined Casella Waste Services as a Regional Sales Manager from 2003 to 2010, during which they played a role in sales and customer relations. Susan then served as Director of Sales Training and Development from 2010 to 2012, providing coaching and training to sales employees. Susan has been with Casella Recycling since 2012, initially as the Director of Business Development and currently serving as the Director of Project Administration.

Susan Millett attended Biddeford High School, where they studied finance and accounting. Susan then went on to attend the University of Southern Maine from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. During their time at the University of Southern Maine, Susan also earned a Certificate in Professional Coaching. Additionally, Susan attended Bentley University from 1985 to 1987, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study there. Susan also holds several certifications, including Certified Green Belt Lean Six Sigma, Certified Public Accountant, Dale Carnegie Trainer - Skills for Success, Quota Sales Performance, and Skills for Success, The Sales Advantage, High Impact Presentations, Leadership Advantage from Dale Carnegie.
