Chris Pardee

Data Engineer I at Caserta

Chris Pardee has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and development. They started their career in 2017 as an intern at LuvCheck, where they designed and implemented APIs using Node.js and MongoDB. They also created a database caching feature to improve performance.

In 2018, Chris worked as a developer intern at Code and Theory, where they independently developed a machine learning/artificial intelligence project. They created a text-categorizing classifier using natural language processing and trained a model in Spacy.

In 2019, Chris served as a developer intern again at Code and Theory, followed by a teaching assistant role at Cornell University for a course on New Media and Society. As a TA, they created engaging questions for online discussions and exams and mentored students who needed help with the course material.

From 2020 to 2022, Chris worked as a junior data engineer at Code and Theory, gaining hands-on experience in data engineering tasks.

In 2022, Chris joined McKinsey & Company and Caserta as a Data Engineer I.

Chris Pardee attended The Dalton School from 2002 to 2015, where they obtained their High School Diploma. In 2015, they enrolled at Cornell University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Chris successfully completed their undergraduate education in 2021. Additionally, in December 2022, Chris obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
