Nathaniel Tipton (Nate)

Nathaniel (Nate) Tipton has extensive experience in maritime operations, currently serving as a Superintendent at Cashman Dredging & Marine Contracting Company, LLC since January 2014, focusing on projects such as the Gowanus Canal Super Fund Project. Previously, Nate held various positions in marine operations, including Mate on the TSHD Atchafalaya and Tug Boat Captain for the GE Hudson River Clean Up Project, notable for being the largest PCB remediation project in the U.S. Experience includes a role as Captain Trainee at Omega Protein, Inc., where Nate managed a crew of 16 and oversaw commercial fishing operations, contributing to the company’s recognition as a top-rated ship in 2011, 2012, and 2013. Education includes a Bachelor of Science and an Associate of Science from Maine Maritime Academy, specializing in Marine Biology and Vessel Operations, respectively. Additionally, Nate has managerial experience at Fairman's Inc., overseeing operations and customer relations.
