Previously, Ross served as the Chief Legal Officer and Secretary at Mercury Payment Systems. Ross built the in-house legal function there and prepared the company for a liquidity event. Ross led Mercury Payment Systems' IPO preparations and $1.9+ billion sale to Vantiv, Inc. (VNTV). Ross also oversaw all legal, procurement, enterprise risk, information security, and compliance functions at Mercury Payment Systems. Following the acquisition, Ross was again appointed acting General Counsel of Vantiv.

Before joining Mercury Payment Systems, Ross was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at West Corporation. Ross was responsible for all legal matters relating to West's merger with Vodafone in 2008.

Ross has a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Yale University.

Ross Agre has a Juris Doctor (JD) from Columbia University School of Law and a BA in International Relations from Dartmouth College.
