Alain Goncalves

Alain Goncalves has a strong background in procurement and manufacturing roles. Alain most recently served as the Vice President of Procurement for Cell and Gene Biologics at Catalent Pharma Solutions. Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at Ipsen, including Vice President of Procurement for Manufacturing and CMO. Alain also worked at Takeda as the Global Category Director for CDMO - DS DP Small and Large Molecules. Earlier in their career, Alain worked at GSK as the Global Procurement Director for R&D and as the Director of Procurement for Manufacturing. Alain also held roles as Site Procurement Head - Manufacturing and Global Senior Category Manager for Professional Services. Alain began their career at the Renault-Nissan Alliance, where they held positions as a Purchasing Project Manager and Senior Buyer.

Alain Goncalves completed an Executive Development Program in Procurement at London Business School in the year 2017. Prior to this, they earned a Master's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, with their education spanning up to the year 2001.
