Anna Zawadzka

Anna Zawadzka is a Senior Scientist II in Assay Development at Catalent Pharma Solutions since March 2024. Previously, Anna served as a Senior Scientist in Bioanalytics at Amyris from February 2018 to February 2023, where responsibilities included developing assays and conducting proteomics and small molecule analysis using LC-MS/MS. Anna also held the position of BioAnalytics Scientist, contributing to proteomics infrastructure development at Amyris from October 2014 to January 2018. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, focusing on protein phosphorylation analysis and breast cancer biomarker discovery, and a Postdoc at UC Berkeley involving the characterization of iron acquisition systems in Gram-positive bacteria. Anna holds a PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry from the University of Idaho and an MSc in Food Science and Technology from the University of Reading.
