Hector Gonzalez Aia

Hector Gonzalez, AIA has a diverse range of work experience in the architecture and design field. Hector began their career as a Chapter President for the American Institute of Architecture Students, where they successfully integrated the student organization into the Architecture Department. Following that, Hector worked on the conceptual design of a hospitality project in Dubai with WATG and Wimberly Interiors. Hector then transitioned to Jeffrey Rome and Associates as a Project Manager, overseeing Sprint Network upgrades in several states. Hector also worked as a Designer at Bassenian Lagoni Architects, where they designed single-family homes for international developers. Prior to that, they worked as a Designer at KTGY Group, Inc., creating density studies and presenting conceptual layouts and site plans. Currently, Hector is serving as the Director of Design at Catalina Island Company, where they manage the planning, design, entitlement, and construction of new Island development projects. Throughout their career, Hector has demonstrated strong project management skills, an ability to develop relationships and facilitate communication, and a focus on delivering high-quality design solutions.

Hector Gonzalez, AIA has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California State Polytechnic University, with a focus on First Professional architecture. Hector also studied International Studies at the National Technical University of Athens. Additionally, Hector earned a certification in Revit - Architecture from WesTech in April 2013.
