Jason Chung Pe, Cem, Chfm

Jason Chung, PE, CEM, CHFM has extensive experience in facilities management, design, and development. Jason is currently serving as the Vice President of Facilities, Design & Development at Catalina Island Company. Prior to that, Jason worked as the Senior Director of Projects at Universal Creative from 2018 to 2021. Jason also served as the Director of Public Works at Naval Support Activity Bethesda and was responsible for managing a professional workforce and overseeing various support services and construction projects. Jason has a background in procurement and acquisition, having worked as a Senior Procurement Analyst at the Assistant Secretary of the Navy. Jason also has experience in military operations, having served as the Operations Officer of Amphibious Construction Battalion ONE and the Company Commander and Training Officer of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion THREE. Throughout their career, Jason has demonstrated leadership and expertise in managing large-scale projects and ensuring the efficient operation of facilities and infrastructure.

Jason Chung, PE, CEM, CHFM has a strong educational background with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. In 2008 to 2009, they pursued further studies at The University of Texas at Austin, where they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Construction Engineering and Project Management.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jason Chung has obtained several important certifications. Jason is a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager, having received this certification from the American Hospital Association in August 2017. Jason is also a Certified Energy Manager, awarded by the Association of Energy Engineers in September 2015. Furthermore, Jason is a Professional Engineer (Civil) in the State of California, a designation they obtained from the California Department of Consumer Affairs - Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists in May 2005.
