Ronda Reimer

Chief Nursing Officer at Catalina Island Health

Ronda Reimer has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ronda began their career at Pella Regional Health Center in 2001, working as an ICU/ED RN and Nursing Shift Supervisor. During their time there, they also served as an RN Special Nursing Projects Coordinator, assisting the Chief Nursing Officer on various projects and coordinating Magnet/Pathway to Excellence programs.

In 2010, Ronda joined Davis County Hospital & Clinics as Chief Nursing Officer, where they worked until 2013. Following this, they worked independently as a Nurse Executive for a year before joining Franklin General Hospital in 2014. At Franklin General Hospital, they held the role of Regional Network Chief Nursing Officer until 2022.

Currently, Ronda is employed as the Interim Chief Nursing Officer at Catalina Island Medical Center, a position they have held since June 2022. In March 2023, they will transition into the role of Chief Nursing Officer in the same organization.

Ronda Reimer holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Additionally, they have an Associate Degree in Nursing from Des Moines Area Community College. Ronda furthered their education by earning a Master of Healthcare Administration and a Master of Health Care Administration from Walden University in 2017. Ronda'sfield of study throughout their educational journey has been focused on health care administration and management.
