Matthew Trujillo

Matthew Trujillo is an experienced professional with a robust background in public health, community engagement, and research. As the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Catalyst California since November 2018, Trujillo has focused on developing strategies to support Youth of Color in Los Angeles County, collaborating with researchers and community organizations. Prior roles include serving as a Program Officer and Research Associate at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, where Trujillo assessed public health trends and managed programs aimed at vulnerable populations. At RAND Corporation, Trujillo conducted research on military mental health policies, while experience at Princeton University involved extensive research on social psychology and diversity initiatives. Trujillo holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and Social Policy from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University.
