Julie Cartmell has over three decades of experience in the clinical research and data management field, currently serving as the Director of Organizational Optimization at Catalyst Clinical Research since March 2019. Previously, Julie held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Corporate PMO and Director of Biometrics at Catalyst. Julie's extensive background includes strategic positions at AstraZeneca, where responsibilities encompassed clinical supply chain management and global clinical operations leadership. Julie also led data management initiatives for various projects at GlaxoSmithKline and the Medical Research Council. With a strong educational foundation that includes a Bachelor of Science from The Open University and a diploma in Ballet and Contemporary Dance from Goldsmiths, University of London, Julie has established a robust career focused on enhancing clinical study processes and standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
