James King

James King has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. James started their career at Winn Dixie Stores in 1991 as a Front End Supervisor, Cashier, and Stock Clerk. In 1994, they joined CCC Landscaping Services as a Project Manager, where they managed a crew and handled customer relationships and financial responsibilities.

In 1997, James joined The Home Depot as a Department Supervisor, responsible for managing two merchandising departments and a team of associates. James was later promoted to Operations Assistant Store Manager, where they oversaw the financial operations of the store and managed 100 direct report associates. Finally, they became a Store Manager, directly responsible for store operations and achieving sales and profitability goals.

In 2015, James joined Hobby Lobby as a CoManager, before transitioning to Variety Wholesalers, Inc in 2017. At Variety Wholesalers, they served as a Store Manager and District Manager, overseeing multiple locations and ensuring operational excellence.

Currently, James is working at Catalyst Fabric Solutions as the Director of Operations, a role they have held since 2019. James has a proven track record of leadership and success in driving operational efficiency and achieving business objectives across their diverse work experience.

James King attended Mercer University from 1994 to 1996, where they studied Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities. James then attended Columbus Technical College from 1998 to 1999, where they obtained a degree in Emergency Medical Technician, specializing in Emergency Care Attendant (EMT Ambulance).
