Alex Lam

Alex Lam has a diverse work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Alex is currently the Director of Procurement/Supply Chain at Catalyst Nutraceuticals, a role they started in 2021. Previously, they served as the Director of Global Procurement at Deerland Probiotics & Enzymes, where they developed procurement strategies and mentored a team of Senior Buyers. Alex also worked as a Senior Buyer at ProCaps Laboratories, managing a team and overseeing the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials. Prior to that, Alex was a Senior Raw Material Buyer at Pharmavite, where they sourced and procured raw materials for a global vitamin manufacturer. Alex started their career at Amway, Nutrilite Division, as a Buyer, Global Procurement, and managed procurement strategies for the botanical category. Before that, they held roles at Econo Tire as the Global Procurement/Operations Manager/Partner, at Computer Supply as the Global Procurement/Operations Manager, and at Kingston Technology as a Production Planner. Their experience spans various industries, including nutraceuticals, probiotics, vitamins, automotive, and technology.

Alex Lam attended UC San Diego from 1992 to 1997 where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology/Philosophy.
