Principal Engineer at Catalytic Data Science

David Call has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2007, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Sony Online Entertainment, where they designed and developed a large multi-user Java-based forum web application system. David also provided engineering production support for a clustered environment. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Lead Web Developer II at Life Technologies, where they designed and deployed a customer profiling web application and implemented an interface to Siebel Medical. At Marriott Vacation Club International, in 2010, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, developing a timeshare owner management web application. In 2011, they joined Sotera Wireless, Inc. as a Senior Systems Software Engineer, responsible for designing and developing communication layers and RESTful web services for patient vitals data. From 2010 to 2011, at Voxeo, they were a Sr. Software Engineer, involved in the design, development, and deployment of a call rating and customer billing system. In 2015, they joined PRIMA Cinema, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer, where they designed and developed secure digital content distribution and RESTful APIs. David then worked at ResMed from 2016 to 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer, focused on developing microservice ecosystems and architecture. In 2018, they had a brief stint at TE2, The Experience Engine, Inc. as a Principal Engineer. And most recently, starting in 2018, they have been working at accesso as a Principal Engineer, where they have designed and developed REST APIs, microservices, and real-time location processing and analytics systems. In 2023, they joined Catalytic Data Science as a Principal Engineer.

David Call attended the University of Colorado Denver from 1995 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Engineering.
