Amanda Sweeney

Amanda Sweeney is a seasoned design professional currently serving as Principal Designer at Catchafire since May 2023, leading the Innovation & Growth team in design strategy and research within a startup environment. Previously, Sweeney held the position of Lead Designer at Google from April 2022 to March 2023, contributing to mission-oriented projects focusing on trust and safety for children and families. A tenure as Design Lead at Fjord, part of Accenture Interactive, from August 2018 to April 2022 involved reimagining employee experiences and enterprise tool modernization. Prior experience includes roles as ACD and Senior Visual Designer at FortyFour, and Senior Art Director at Jackson Spalding, alongside earlier positions as Visual Designer at createTWO and the College of Design and Architecture. Sweeney holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Auburn University and has studied at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
