Lauren Craig Albrecht is passionate about education, Lauren is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. Her work focuses on helping parents and teachers improve relationships with children and teens so they can better navigate today’s high-pressured academic environment and adopt healthy life skills.
She was president of the MOMS Club of Studio City and launched Macaroni Kid Pasadena, an online newsletter for families. She helped premier the independent film, Race to Nowhere, to the San Gabriel Valley, bringing attention to the increasing stress and anxiety teens and young adults face. At Chandler School in Pasadena, CA she has volunteered in numerous positions including serving as the Alumni Council president, a committee member of the Board of Trustees, and the school’s parent association.
After graduating from Cate, Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts in French from Skidmore College. She returned to Los Angeles and received a Master of Science in Gerontology and a Master of Health Administration from USC. In Washington, DC, she worked as a health care policy analyst for several institutions, AARP and the American Heart Association.
