Matúš Makatura

Matúš Makatura is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. since July 2024, Matúš also functions as Chief Technology Officer at Nordics.io, a B2B ecosystem for IT solutions, and is the Founder and CEO of Develine, focused on web and game development projects. Previous positions include Software Architect at Workflows s.r.o., where backend APIs were developed for major clients, and Software Engineer roles at Visma Labs and Ness KDC, contributing to educational systems and financial crime detection platforms, respectively. Matúš holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Technical University of Košice, where studies were completed in 2022 and 2020.
