Prashant Rana

Prashant Rana is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and procurement. Currently serving as a Senior Procurement Manager at Caterpillar Inc. since November 2010, Prashant has held various key roles including Solutions Manager and Supply Chain Manager, demonstrating a strong background in Six Sigma methodologies as a Black Belt. Prior to Caterpillar, Prashant worked at Gemini Sounds and Progressive Computing Inc., gaining valuable experience as an Electronics Technician and Assistant Technician. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas, a Master’s degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Northern Illinois University, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering from The City College of New York, and a Diploma in Industrial Electronics from Bharati Vidyapeeth.
