Chris Bowden has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Chris is currently working as the Head of Cargo Global Partnerships at Cathay Pacific Airways, overseeing global partnerships and marketing teams. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Planning and Business Improvement, where they managed resource planning and efficiency optimization. Chris also worked as the Country Manager for Indonesia, responsible for overseeing operations in the country.

In addition to their roles at Cathay Pacific Airways, Chris has held positions at the Board of Airline Representatives of Indonesia, where they served as Vice Chairman, and at Swire Pacific Offshore, where they held various managerial roles. At Swire Pacific Offshore, they served as the General Manager for South East Asia, Global Head of Marine Manning, Training and Competence Assurance, Manager for East Africa, Marketing Manager for Africa and Australasia, as well as an Executive Assistant.

Chris also has experience in the education sector, having worked as an Extra Academic Assistant at SOAS, where they provided teaching assistance to students studying Swahili.

Chris Bowden's education history includes attending Woodham Comprehensive School from 1996 to 2001. After that, they attended Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College from 2001 to 2003. Chris then went on to study at SOAS University of London from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a BA (Hons) degree in Swahili and Development Studies. Later on, Chris attended INSEAD in 2014 and completed the Swire Management Programme, focusing on Business Administration and Management. In 2017, they furthered their education at INSEAD by completing the Swire Management Programme with a field of study in Accounting and Control. Lastly, in 2019, Chris attended INSEAD to complete the Swire Advanced Management Programme.
