Efendi Siahaan

Efendi Siahaan has a diverse background in finance and operations. Efendi'smost recent experience was at Catholic Relief Services, where they served as the Head of Finance and Operations. In this role, they were responsible for managing financial and accounting activities, as well as overseeing human resources, procurement, and ICT.

Prior to this, Efendi worked at the World Resources Institute as an Operations Specialist. Here, they managed budget activities for multiple projects, ensured compliance with policies and procedures, and prepared budget proposals.

Efendi also has experience in the non-profit sector, having worked at organizations such as Simavi and Save the Children International. In these roles, they focused on financial management, internal controls, and donor compliance.

Earlier in their career, Efendi worked as a Finance & Administration Manager at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), where they helped establish a new regional office. Efendi also worked as a Finance & Admin Officer at Jhpiego and as an Internal Auditor at PT Bank CIMB Niaga.

Efendi's work experience reflects their expertise in finance, budget management, and operations. Efendi has consistently demonstrated their ability to develop and implement policies, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Efendi Siahaan obtained a Master's degree in International Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Glasgow in 2017-2018. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Financial Management Services at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
