Mads Emil Matthiesen

Mads Emil Matthiesen is the CEO and co-founder of CathVision. Mads has also co-founded BioRepeller and Healthcare Ventures ApS.

Mads has a background in management consulting, having worked for The Boston Consulting Group as an associate consultant. Mads also has experience in the startup world, having been a resident at Nest Copenhagen, a co-living space for entrepreneurs and innovators.

Mads is passionate about driving innovation and has been involved with Innovation Forum as the president of the Copenhagen branch. Mads is also a board member of PanCryos, a company that provides cryogenic solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry.

Mads Emil Matthiesen is a special student studying design of medical devices and implants at Harvard University. Mads was previously a special student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the same field. Mads holds a Master of Science in Medicine & Technology (Biomedical Engineering) from DTU - Technical University of Denmark and Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they completed the Honors program. Mads also has a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science in Medicine & Technology (Biomedical Engineering) from DTU - Technical University of Denmark and Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.
