Shulamit Hirsch

Shulamit Hirsch is currently the Head of Intellectual Property and Outsourcing at Technion R&D Ltd. and Intellectual Property Manager at CathWorks. Previously, they were the Chief Executive Officer and WIPA - Wholistic IP Approach by Dr. Shulamit Hirsch at WIPA IL from 2018 to 2020. Shulamit was also the Intellectual Property Analyst at Guangzhou Sino-Israel Biotech Fund - GIBF in 2020. From 2015 to 2018, they were an IP Consultant and Intellectual Property Consultant at Kornit Digital. From 2013 to 2018, they were an IP Consultant, IP management with their own company, Dr. Shulamit Hirsch. From 2009 to 2016, they were an External Examiner at the Israel Patent Office. In 2018, they were an Expert Evaluator for CaixaImpulse and an Expert Evaluator for ERC Proof of Concept under Horizon 2020 for the European Commission. Shulamit was also an Expert Evaluator and IP Analyst for Uni.Fund in 2018.

Shulamit Hirsch obtained a BSc in Chemistry from Tel Aviv University between 1980 and 1983. Shulamit then continued their studies at the same university and obtained an MSc in Organic Chemistry and Natural Products Isolation and Characterization between 1984 and 1986. Finally, they completed their PhD in Chemistry, Organic, Natural Products, Isolation and Characterization, Synthesis, NMR, and Purifications between 1986 and 1990. Additionally, they are an Israeli Patent Attorney, registered with the Israeli Patent Registrar.
