Saumil Shah

Saumil Shah has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Head of Growth and Business Development at Causal, where they are responsible for leading growth, marketing, partnerships, and business/revenue operations. Saumil is also involved in building a business planning tool. Prior to this, Saumil served as an Instructor/Mentor at The Commons, where they imparted knowledge and guidance to others. Saumil then joined SafeGraph as the Head of Growth/Chief of Staff to the CEO, where they led growth, analytics, digital marketing, community, and podcast, and worked on strategic initiatives. Saumil later took on the role of Growth Strategy and Analytics Lead. Saumil's previous experience includes working at Common as the Senior Manager of Strategy + Business Intelligence, Chief of Staff to the CEO, and Senior Associate of Business Operations. Saumil played a vital role in operations and high-impact initiatives at Common. Before that, Saumil worked at Uber in Business Operations, focusing on financial analytics and revenue optimization. Saumil was part of the early team at Uber Freight. Saumil began their career as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs.

From 2013 to 2017, Saumil Shah attended the University of Michigan, where they studied Economics & Applied Statistics.
