Alexey Drozdetskiy

Alexey Drozdetskiy, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Alexey has worked in various roles, including Director of Applied Data Science at causaLens, Head of Data Science at RAPP and Kainos, Principal Data Scientist at Altius and DataSparQ, and Senior Postdoctoral Research Assistant at The University of Dundee. Throughout their career, Alexey has led several projects in domains such as medical services, financial services, energy, government organizations, and the airline industry. Alexey has also contributed to the establishment of data science expertise in Altius' sister company, DataSparQ. Alexey's early experience includes research and teaching positions at CERN, University of Notre Dame, and University of Florida.

Alexey Drozdetskiy, PhD, holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Florida, which they obtained from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Masters in Physics with a focus on Elementary Particle Physics from Novosibirsk State University (NSU) from 1998 to 2011. Alexey also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Particle Physics and Physics from NSU, which they obtained from 1995 to 1998. Alexey has additional certifications, including the Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Data Engineering on Google Cloud Platform Specialization, and the Microsoft Professional Program for Data Science.
