Miika Hakala

Miika Hakala has had a varied career in technology. Miika began as a programmer at Åbo Akademi in 2002, then moved on to become a research assistant there in the same year, developing software in support of faculty research interests in agile methodologies. In 2011, they became a product manager at Neotide, and in 2018 they co-founded 4Help and became its CTO. In 2019, they joined Cavai as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and SVP of Engineering. Prior to this, they were the Founder and CEO of BucketList from 2012-2019, helping people follow their dreams.

Miika Hakala attended Åbo Akademi University from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science.
